We are the Foundation of San Giorgio Vescovo ONLUS situated in Cagliari, the main city of Sardinia, Italy. We have all the documents necesssary for the execution of excursions and tours for groups or for individual clients.
We would like to propose you cheap exclusive tours for little groups of three or seven days.
A tour of three days costs 320 euros per person. Tours of seven days cost 675 euros per person.
Tourists will stay in a three stars little beautiful hotel where he/she will have breakfast, lunch and supper in very good restaurants or agriturismos, famous for their traditional cuisine. Every day is full of events, like visits of churches, museums and little firms where traditional Sardinian products are produced. Every evening you can feel the atmosphere of a typical Sardinian feast with dances, music and singers.
Tourists can spend some days at the seaside, with the approaching of spring and summer time you can spend some days in a very beautiful,rose colour beaches situated near the village of Arbatax and Cagliari.
At your disposal there will be a guide who speaks German,English, Spanish or French.

First day,
Cagliari/Arbatax
Meeting at the airport /port of Cagliari and travel by bus to Mandas.
In Mandas we catch the romantic little ecologic «green train» wich passes through many beautiful places where nature is still wild and rich of amenities.The train crosses the wild mountains of Barbagia that not even Romans were able to occupy it in 200 B.C. The train crosses also little villages where people live very close to nature, the lake of Flumendosa, and in the end reaches Sadali. Lunch in tipical restaurant. In Sadali we visit the Caves of Is Janas. After this we continue our travel with our ecologic «green train» to Arbatax, situated on the sea. Supper and sleeping at the hotel.
Second day
Arbatax /Urzulei /Suelli
Breakfast. We take our bus and go to Urzulei where we visit the church of Saint George the Bishop, from the XIV century. We go through a path to visit natural monuments made of stone.Lunch at the agriturismo of the village where you can taste the particular dishes of this beautiful region.
The tourists can also choose to spend their half or full day at the beautiful beaches of Arbatax,famous for its red cliffs.
After lunch we can visit a little family firm where they produce beautiful handmade carpets, table colthes, blankets etc.
After this we can visit another family firm where they make «asfodel».
After this we take the bus to Suelli. During the travel we stop at the fountain of Saint George which is famous for its wonderful powers (it cures some illnesses). In Suelli we accomodate in the hotel and after we visit the historical centre.We have supper in a typical restaurant with Sardinia dances and folk songs.
Third day.
Suelli.
Brakfast. Visit of the Church of Saint George, the Cathedral of Saint Peter from the XIII century. We can walk to a park where there are olive trees older more than 500 hundred years. Lunch at the agriturismo «Su Mesoni». After lunch we can visit the little firm where they make different kinds of ceramics and a firm where they make house articles.Supper, dances and folk songs. We leave back to Cagliari by bus.

First day
Cagliari/ Lanusei
Meeting at the airport or port of Cagliari. We catch the bus and we go to Mandas where the romantic «green» train is waiting for us.
We get on the train and travel to the village of Sadali. During this travel we can admire the wild nature of Sardinia, wild mountains, little villages and the lake of Flumendosa.When we get to Sadali we get on the bus and go to see the famous caves of JANAS and have lunch in a marvellous restaurant in the village. After visiting the Janas we take the train again and go through the mountains of Gennargentu (the silver mountain). We reach the old village of Lanusei where we stay in a hotel. We have supper in a agriturismo.
Second day
Lanusei /Urzulei /Lanusei
Breakfast. We visit the church of Saint George Bishop from the XIV century in Lanusei. We go through a path to visit natural monuments made of stone.Lunch at the agriturismo of the village «Campu e Spina» where you can taste the particular dishes of this old region.
After lunch we can visit in Lanusei a little family firm where they produce beautiful handmade carpets,table colthes, blankets etc.
After this we can visit another family firm where they make «asfodel».
After this we take the bus to Lanusei. During the travel we stop at the source of Saint George which is famous for its wonderful powers(it cures some illnesses). Supper.
Third day
Lanusei /Arbatax /Lanusei
Breakfast. Excursion to the church of Madonna di Stella Maris in PortoFrailis. We visit the Turkish Tower. Lunch at the restaurant «La Capannina» in front of the seaside.
The tourists can also choose to spend their haf day or full day at the beautiful beaches of Arbatax, famous for its red cliffs.
After lunch. Excursion to the «Cantina sociale Ogliastra» where you can taste the very famous and tasteful local sardinian wine. One of this will be the famous red Cannonau. Visit of the little family firm Tiziana Tascheda where they produce ceramics. We get back to Lanusei by bus. Supper.
Forth day
Lanusei
Breakfast. Visit of the cathedral of Santa Maria Maddalena famous for its beautiful frescos. Holy Mass for the group held by Monsignor Antonio Piseddu. Visit of the museum Diocesano where you can see the archeological wrecks and documents of the medieval age.
Lunch at the agriturismo «Azienda agrituristica Ogliastra».
The tourists can also choose to spend their half day or full day at the beautiful beaches near Lanusei.
After lunch excursion to Loceri where you can see how they make the traditional Sardinia dress. Visit of a little firm where they produce traditional Sardinian musical instruments. One of these instruments is the Launeddas. Supper. After supper we visit the Astronomical Observatory Gallium which is one of the largest of all Italy. This Astronomical Observatory is situated on the mountain of Armidda, 1100 meters high, famous for its view of the sky, thanks to a place without pollution.
Fifth day
Lanusei /Osini /Suelli
Brakfast. Meeting at the church of Saint George. Visit of the natural monuments called «Scala» and «Gola» and the so called «Arc of Saint George» surrounded by a very beautiful view.
During the first part of the day you can also choose to go to the beach.
Lunch. After lunch we catch the bus and go to Ulassai where you can visit the so called «Station of Art». A unique museum where they collected different kinds of artistic objects made by great artists.We take the bus and go back to Suelli. Supper with a traditional feast.
Sixth day
Suelli
Breakfast. Visit of the Santuario of Saint George in Suelli where the holy George is buried. Excursion to the Cathedral of San Peter from the XIII century,the Church of the Madonna del Carmine from the XVII century. Lunch at the agriturismo «Su Mesoni» in a building of the XVII century. After lunch we go the laboratory where they make ceramics. After this we go to another one where they make golden rings, necklaces and gold «filigrana». Supper with dances and national songs.
Sevenf day
Suelli/Cagliari
Brakfast. We take the bus and go to the ancient Nuraghes about 3 thousand years old. After we go to a chapel with a well of holy water. Visit of the country church,dedicated to the holy Cosimo and Damiano from the XVII century. After we can walk to a park where there are are olive trees of more than 500 hundred years.Lunch. We take the bus and
go to Cagliari, to the airport or port.
